The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lopez misses with a looping left.
Lopez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Lopez looks to score with a jab to the body but Rivera is just out of range.
Lopez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Rivera.
Rivera clobbers Lopez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Rivera throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Lopez throws a hook but Rivera avoids it easily.

Lopez's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
