Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vinicius Ferrari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richter Alastrasz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ferrari comes to the cage accompanied by Holy Diver by Dio. The key to victory for Vinicius Ferrari has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Vinicius Ferrari!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Richter Alastrasz!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Alexandre Firmino and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrari waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Alastrasz.
Alastrasz stuns Ferrari with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Ferrari is looking to chop away at Alastrasz's legs.
Ferrari throws a sloppy head kick and Alastrasz moves out of range easily.
Ferrari shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Alastrasz but Alastrasz pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Vinicius Ferrari seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alastrasz darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Alastrasz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ferrari looks a forlorn figure.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Let's hope that Alastrasz has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Ferrari knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alastrasz on the ground.

Alastrasz takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Alastrasz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Alastrasz has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Ferrari's face.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Richter Alastrasz dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Alastrasz throws the left hand but Ferrari avoids the punch easily.
Alastrasz lands with a shot to the body.
Alastrasz looks to throw the jab but Ferrari is out of range.
Alastrasz scores with a decent looking hook.
Ferrari bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ferrari shoots in but no luck this time.
Alastrasz scores with a body shot.
Alastrasz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Alastrasz misses with a hook.
Ferrari throws a leg kick but Alastrasz checks it.
Alastrasz slips under a jab.
Ferrari keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Alastrasz.

Alastrasz shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Alastrasz is landing with some decent strikes but Ferrari is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Alastrasz won't let Ferrari get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Alastrasz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Alastrasz is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ferrari can't stay in a position like this for much longer.


Ferrari is rocked!
Alastrasz looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Ferrari covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
