Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Neho Kipei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marnic Pretorius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Neho Kipei could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Marnic Pretorius's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Neho Kipei!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marnic Pretorius!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pretorius changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kipei looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Pretorius prevents Kipei from escaping the position.
Kipei is not content to let Pretorius control the position.
Kipei is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Pretorius is controlling him well.
Pretorius is looking to take a break and control but Kipei is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Marnic Pretorius hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Kipei shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pretorius as he jumps to the side.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kipei.
Kipei swats away the attempt to clinch by Pretorius.
Kipei throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pretorius's waist but Pretorius gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kipei off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Neho Kipei. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kipei shoots in looking for a takedown. Pretorius tries to sprawl out of it but Kipei keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pretorius manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Pretorius with that takedown attempt.
Kipei dodges the punch combination from Pretorius.
Kipei drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kipei scores with a couple of short elbows.
Pretorius tries to bench press Kipei off him but Kipei keeps the position.
Kipei lands a decent elbow from side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Pretorius takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kipei landing a few strikes.

Pretorius is still in real trouble! Can Kipei finish him?
Pretorius manages to get back to half guard.
Kipei is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Pretorius is hurt! He's hurt bad - Kipei fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Pretorius from any more punishment! Congratulations to Kipei! Great finish!

A pretty intense looking Neho Kipei took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
