The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Velasco misses.
Velasco fails in his attempt to clinch.
Horrible takedown by Velasco or perhaps it was just good defense by Alexander which made him look bad.
Alexander scores with a head kick. Velasco tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

It looks like Raphael Velasco has been cut.
Velasco fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Velasco wants to clinch but Alexander slips to the side
and Alexander counters with an inside leg kick.
Velasco shoots in for a double leg but Alexander sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Velasco shoots in but Alexander avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Alexander misses with a takedown attempt - Velasco sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Alexander! Velasco is out on his feet! Alexander rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Velasco is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Velasco is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
