The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharp scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Zoetebier doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Sharp counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sharp displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Zoetebier.
Sharp dives in and scores a takedown into Zoetebier's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Zoetebier is looking for a triangle but Sharp pushes his legs off easily.
Sharp throws a big elbow that misses.
Zoetebier has momentary wrist control but Sharp slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zoetebier is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Sharp has his hands clasped together but Zoetebier extends an breaks Sharp's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Zoetebier.
