The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nokea looks to land a left hand but Hakoa moved out of range nicely.
Nokea throws a looping overhand right but Hakoa ducks down to avoid it.
Hakoa tries to clinch but Nokea is having none of it.

Hakoa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nokea paws at him with a jab and circles away.

It looks like Kolohe Hakoa has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hakoa shoots in but Nokea avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Nokea throws a lazy right hand but Hakoa sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nokea misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Hakoa.

That has opened up Kolohe Hakoa's cut even more.
Nokea cracks Hakoa with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Hakoa tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Nokea pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Hakoa is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
