The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Yeung's guard.
Santos passes Yeung's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Santos looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Yeung is staying active underneath Santos, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yeung is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Santos seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yeung does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Santos works his foot free and advances to mount.

Santos wants to finish this one by submission but Yeung is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Santos.
Yeung tries to reverse the position but Santos maintains control.
Santos looking to control but Yeung is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Yeung is wriggling around trying to escape.
Yeung bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Yeung thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Santos holds on and takes a little breather.
Santos is looking to sinch up a triangle. Yeung throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Santos's body to avoid the submission. Santos has instead reached around Yeung's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Santos arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
