Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Randall Guillermo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lobster Moonbeam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moonbeam comes into a darkened arena with his song building. white rabbit by jefferson airplane kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Randall Guillermo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lobster Moonbeam!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Lobster Moonbeam has been cut.
Moonbeam keeps the fight on the outside.
Guillermo tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Moonbeam swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Guillermo is now in Moonbeam's guard. A big mistake from Moonbeam there, giving up the dominant position!

Moonbeam is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Moonbeam is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

That was a close round but I would say that Randall Guillermo will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Guillermo throws a hook to the side of Moonbeam's head but Moonbeam sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Moonbeam jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Guillermo is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Guillermo and Moonbeam has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Guillermo dodges the ground and pound from Moonbeam.
Moonbeam connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Guillermo some visible discomfort.

Moonbeam laying and praying for a moment but Guillermo takes advantage and regains half guard.
Moonbeam is keen to just control but Guillermo is a slippery customer.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Moonbeam takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Guillermo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moonbeam on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Lobster Moonbeam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Moonbeam is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Guillermo is surviving well by controlling Moonbeam's body position as best he can.

Moonbeam is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Moonbeam extends the arm and Guillermo is forced to tap!
