Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua lands a right hook to the body.
Guerra wants to clinch up but Rua keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Guerra looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Guerra checks a leg kick nicely.
Rua fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Guerra avoids it really well and circles away.
Rua instigates a clinch.
Guerra tries to score a body lock takedown but Rua shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Guerra goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Guerra tries to work over Rua's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Guerra goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rua prevents it.
Rua pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Rua throws a looping overhand right but Guerra ducks down to avoid it.
Guerra tries to clinch there but Rua circles away.
Rua instigates a clinch.
Rua misses with a knee to the head.
Rua prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Conrado Guerra. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rua tries to work over Guerra's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Guerra has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rua is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Guerra wants a takedown.
Rua blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Guerra breaks the clinch.
Guerra chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rua can pounce on him.
A jab from Rua finds it's way through Guerra's defenses.
Rua misses with a body shot.
Guerra tries to clinch but Rua moves out of range.
Rua shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Guerra as he avoids it easily.
Guerra wants to clinch up but Rua keeps it at a distance.
Guerra steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rua.
Rua misses with a body kick.
Rua misses with a hook. Guerra ducked under it nicely.
Guerra tries to clinch up.
Guerra shoots in for a takedown but Rua shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sloppy strikes from Rua. Those never looked like landing.
Rua lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Guerra will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rua cracks Guerra with a good jab.
Guerra fails in his attempt to clinch.
Guerra fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Rua swats away the attempt to clinch by Guerra.
Guerra tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Rua counters with a flying knee that drops Guerra! Rua dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
