The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silvas throws a head kick but Kiki moves out of range.
Kiki throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kiki lunges at Silvas with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Silvas's hand.
Silvas keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Kiki.
Kiki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silvas moves away.
Kiki moves out of range of the body kick from Silvas.
Silvas uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Kiki.
Silvas tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Kiki counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Silvas!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
