Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards rushes Gracie and presses him up against the cage.
Gracie has Richards pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Richards manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Gracie tries to pull guard but Richards won't allow it.
Richards lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Richards manages to break the clinch.
Gracie circles away from the clinch attempt.
Gracie avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Gracie throws a head kick that misses.
Richards fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Gracie looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Robert Richards has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hoyce Gracie.
Richards wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch but Richards swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Horrible takedown by Gracie or perhaps it was just good defense by Richards which made him look bad.
Richards clinches.
Richards escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
An inside leg kick lands from Richards.
Gracie looks gassed!
Richards wants to clinch up but Gracie keeps it at a distance.
Richards shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Gracie is looking to improve his position but Richards isn't that keen on the idea.
Richards get's back to his feet.
Gracie ducks under a wild hook from Richards.
Hoyce Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Richards sprawls well initially but Gracie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Richards defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gracie is pressing down on Richards's thigh, looking to free his foot. Richards is holding on for now.
Richards looks like he's trying to stand up.
Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie wants to pass to mount but Richards is defending the position.
Richards tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control.
Richards wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Richards is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Gracie prevents Richards from improving his position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Richards counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Gracie's guard now.
Richards wants to control from the top but Gracie keeps moving.
Gracie is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Richards doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gracie is tightening it up a little... Richards has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Richards reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Richards taps out! nice BJJ there by Gracie!
