Nichols throws a head kick that misses

and Krypton counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Krypton wants to pass the guard but Nichols is keeping the position.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nichols is on top in guard.

Nichols stands and steps away. Krypton gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Krypton drops back looking for a leg! Nichols is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nichols manages to kick Krypton off! Krypton jumps back into Nichols's guard.

Nichols escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Krypton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Nichols wants to stand and escape but Krypton is having none of it.
