Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Alexsandr Kovrov!
The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Kovrov.
Kovrov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Hex throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Hex with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Kovrov takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hex lands a nice hook to Kovrov's body. Kovrov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hex misses with a right hand
enabling Kovrov to counter with a crisp jab.
Kovrov connects with a jab.
Kovrov misses with a two punch combination.
Kovrov ducks right into an uppercut from Hex.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kovrov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hex circles away quickly and effectively.
Hex misses with a low kick.
Hex tries to clinch up.
Kovrov throws a sloppy head kick and Hex moves out of range easily.
Hex slips a jab from Kovrov.
Hex takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Hex throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A head kick misses from Kovrov.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hex takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Kovrov takes a swing at Hex's ribcage but misses.
Hex fails to land with a series of punches.
Kovrov misses with a double jab.
Kovrov misses the shot to the body.
A lazy left from Hex finds it's target.
Hex jabs Kovrov to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Hex walks forward, straight into a front kick from Kovrov.
Kovrov misses with a body shot.
Kovrov takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Kovrov pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hex is out of range and Kovrov settles back down.
Alexsandr Kovrov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kovrov moves away from the strike by Hex.
Kovrov misses with a two punch combination.
Hex dips to his left and cracks Kovrov with an uppercut!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kovrov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hex drops Kovrov with a beautiful combination! Kovrov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Hex is looking for the KO!
Kovrov is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hex scores with a leg kick.
Kovrov is still on wobbly legs! Can Hex finish him?
Kovrov looks gassed!
Kovrov gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Hex points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Kovrov wakes up just in time to hear Hex thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Voodoo Hex!
Voodoo Hex is the new middleweight champion!
Voodoo Hex took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'FUCK THE WORLD WOOOOOOOOO!!!!'.
