PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Leonard Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Master Chuin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chuin has chosen Remo WIlliams Theme as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Leonard Khan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Master Chuin!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Elvis Blanc and William Peck.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan moves out of range of the strikes.
Chuin throws a nice outside leg kick.
Chuin jabs Khan right on the nose. Khan blinks but takes it well.
Chuin swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chuin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Khan swings for the body but Chuin moves out of range.
Khan on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Chuin. Chuin obviously looking to wear him down.
Khan misses with a straight right.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Sloppy strikes from Chuin. Those never looked like landing.
Chuin moves into range and connects with a jab.
Khan walks into a jab.
Khan slips a straight right by Chuin.
Chuin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Chuin bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Chuin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good shot there by Chuin.
Chuin scores with a shot to the body.
Khan misses with an uppercut.
Chuin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Khan misses with a straight right.
Chuin throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chuin looks to score with a jab to the body but Khan is just out of range.
Chuin scores with a jab to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chuin throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Khan moves out of range of the body kick.
Chuin slips a jab from Khan.
Khan getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Khan takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Khan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chuin swivels and escapes.
Khan is breathing heavily.
Chuin takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Khan gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chuin to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Chuin slips nicely into half guard.

Chuin seems to be looking for submissions.
Chuin is keen to just control but Khan is a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Chuin looking for a submission but Khan manages to get full guard, putting an end to that submission attempt.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Khan keeping moving, preventing Chuin from controlling successfully.
Chuin is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Chuin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Khan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chuin trying to control but Khan is working from the bottom.

Chuin drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Khan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Chuin has Khan in his guard.

Chuin looking for a triangle here. Khan is fighting it but it looks tight! Chuin pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Khan is tapping out - this one is all over!
