Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pat Sumrall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen Ice Cube - Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 17 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Sumrall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 23 - 0, fighting out of London, Marcus Miller!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sumrall pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Sumrall throws a series of punches but Miller avoids them all with ease.
Sumrall throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Miller counters by clinching up.
Sumrall is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Miller is defending well for now.
Sumrall tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Sumrall throws an elbow that misses.
Sumrall lands a shot to the body.

With the fighters up against the cage, Sumrall throws an elbow but misses.
Miller is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Sumrall to keep the fight standing.
Sumrall lands an elbow inside that Miller shrugs off.


It looks like Marcus Miller has been cut.
Miller fails to pull guard.
Sumrall tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Sumrall lands an elbow inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Miller.
Miller jumps guard but Sumrall stands there with Miller around his waist. Miller gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Pat Sumrall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marcus Miller.

Miller tries to stall but Sumrall uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Sumrall has a couple of punches blocked by Miller.
Miller wants to take the fight to the mat but Sumrall manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Sumrall tries a body shot but Miller blocks it.
Sumrall pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.

Sumrall lands an elbow that stopped Miller in his tracks for a moment.

Miller's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Sumrall fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Pat Sumrall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Miller wants to clinch.
Sumrall throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Miller sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Miller feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sumralls jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Miller is looking to clinch.
Sumrall throws a head kick but Miller moves out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Miller shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Miller avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sumrall is looking to clinch.
Sumrall throws a leg kick but Miller sees it coming and moves out of range.

Sumrall throws a big shot that misses.

Miller closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sumrall did well to prevent Miller getting side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Miller passes the guard and advances to mount!

Sumrall takes the fight into the clinch.
Miller blocks an elbow strike from Sumrall.
Sumrall creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Miller's defenses.
Sumrall swings wildly with an uppercut but Miller uses good head movement to avoid it.
Sumrall landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Miller lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sumrall backwards.
Sumrall fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
With the fighters up against the cage, Sumrall throws an elbow but misses.

Miller manages to pull guard.
Miller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sumrall is controlling him.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sumrall in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Sumrall prevents Miller from getting back to his feet.
Sumrall is looking to work some ground and pound but Miller has wrist control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Sumrall decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Miller, up you get!

Miller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sumrall manages to avoid it.
Miller shoots in but Sumrall avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Miller takes a jab right on the kisser.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Sumrall tries a head kick but it misses.
Miller takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Miller tries to clinch there but Sumrall circles away.
Miller misses with a hook.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Pat Sumrall will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Miller misses with some punches.
Miller is working for takedown but Sumrall is calmly controlling the position for now.

Miller breaks the clinch.
Miller rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sumrall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Miller moves in looking to clinch but Sumrall pushes him off.
Sumrall throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Sumrall closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Sumrall gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Sumrall tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Sumrall lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Miller or not.
Sumrall creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Sumrall is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Miller is defending well for now.

Sumrall misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Miller.

Miller is pressed against the cage. Sumrall pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Miller! Two more big strikes from Sumrall and Miller crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Pat Sumrall!
