Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Doe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giant Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doe comes to the cage accompanied by whatsername, and does she remember my name?. Kong has chosen GIANT KONG as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 13 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Giant Kong!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Kong throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Kong drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kong postures up and lands a big shot to Doe's brow.
Kong with a flurry of punches that miss.
Kong is stalling in the full guard.
Kong throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Doe works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Kong lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Doe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kong on the ground.

Kong is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Doe is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Doe has escaped and now he's on top!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Doe is aware though and is defending well.

Kong is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Doe won't allow Kong to sweep him here.
Kong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Doe's guard.
Doe preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Kong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Kong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Doe is keeping the position for now.
Kong seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Kong postures up in Doe's guard and throws a big left but Doe blocks it.

Kong tries to free his leg and advance position but Doe is retaining full guard.
Kong chips away with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kong sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Kong looking to sit in guard and control but Doe gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Kong working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Doe doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Doe manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Kong tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Doe is sitting in close to Kong's body. Kong has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Doe is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Doe is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kong.
