Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Badr Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Big J (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big J has chosen Platinum Skull as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. John Big J has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardy leaves Big J with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Hardy tries to clinch but Big J is having none of it.
Big J with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hardy to score with a decent uppercut.
Big J tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hardy sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Big J somewhat.
Hardy gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Hardy lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Big J shoots in looking for a takedown. Hardy tries to sprawl out of it but Big J keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hardy manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Big J tries to close the distance and clinch but Hardy swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hardy throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Big J shoots in for a takedown but Hardy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Hardy throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Big J.
John Big J seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hardy moves into the clinch.
Hardy turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Hardy manages to end up in side control.
Hardy tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
You can see the frustration on Big J's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

It looks like Badr Hardy has been cut.
Big J is throwing shots to the body but Hardy manages to wriggle free. Big J pounces on him again and ends up in Hardy's guard.
Big J throws a strike but Hardy rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

A relieved looking John Big J thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
