Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Justin Textmark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fjodor Fedja (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Andrew Berry and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fedja tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fjodor Fedja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Fedja with that takedown attempt.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Fedja fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Textmark sprawls well initially but Fedja persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Textmark regains full guard. Nicely done.
Textmark is striking from the bottom but Fedja uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fedja connects with a nice short shot to Textmark's temple.

Fedja is looking for a kimura here.
Textmark is trying to control but can't.
Textmark is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Fedja is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
