Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Gramacho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Slum Goodlum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gramacho avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Gramacho tries to keep at a distance but Goodlum has taken the fight into the clinch.
Gramacho tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Goodlum can't get the takedown.

Goodlum successfully pulls guard.
Goodlum wants to sweep here but Gramacho controlling him for the moment.
Goodlum thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Gramacho stands and throws Goodlum's legs to the side, diving into side control.

Gramacho has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Goodlum tries to escape but Gramacho is in control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Gramacho working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Gramacho is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Goodlum has escaped the position, nice work there.
Goodlum is trying to control Gramacho's posture but Gramacho avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goodlum might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Gramacho kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Gramacho is looking to take a break and control but Goodlum is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Goodlum tries to bench press Gramacho off him but Gramacho keeps the position.

Gramacho wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Goodlum, who protects the arm well.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

Goodlum shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Gramacho's guard.
Gramacho can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Goodlum controls the pace.

Gramacho is looking for a triangle but Goodlum pushes his legs off easily.
Goodlum throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Gramacho works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Goodlum would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Gramacho is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Goodlum wants to stand but Gramacho has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Gramacho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Goodlum doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Goodlum manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Gramacho is looking for a triangle here but Goodlum uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Goodlum tries to stand but Gramacho is controlling his head.
Gramacho is trying to control Goodlum's posture but Goodlum avoids it.

Gramacho manages to work his way to half guard, despite Goodlum's best efforts.
Gramacho makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Gramacho.

Gramacho is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Goodlum thows a big elbow that misses.
Goodlum must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Goodlum is looking to stand up but Gramacho won't let him.
Gramacho avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Goodlum really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gramacho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
