PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dmitriy Bukharin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brokki Leboswski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bukharin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Terminator 2: Judgment Day" by Brad Fiedel. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Leboswski shoots in and bounces Bukharin off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Bukharin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Leboswski gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Leboswski with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Leboswski throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Bukharin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Bukharin tries to strike from the bottom.
Leboswski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Bukharin's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bukharin manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Leboswski manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leboswski manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Leboswski has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bukharin's face.
Bukharin bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bukharin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bukharin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bukharin has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Leboswski doesn't defend quickly enough and Bukharin has managed to lock this one up! Can Leboswski escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Bukharin on a fantastic submission victory.
