Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mr STEEL PENN (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). STEEL PENN's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Everything in it's right place. Ross has chosen Ice-T 'Original Ganster' as his entrance music. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross tries a head kick but it misses.
Ross throws a sloppy head kick and STEEL PENN moves out of range easily.
Ross misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Ross throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ross rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and STEEL PENN makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

STEEL PENN lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Ross avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

STEEL PENN scores with a crisp jab that stopped Ross in his tracks.
Ross throws a sloppy head kick and STEEL PENN moves out of range easily.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
STEEL PENN jabs Ross to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ross staying out of range there.
Nice body punch from STEEL PENN.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mr STEEL PENN dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Ross takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Ross throws a sloppy head kick and STEEL PENN moves out of range easily.
STEEL PENN cracks a nice hook into Ross's ribs.
STEEL PENN cracks Ross with an open hand slap.
Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Ross might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, STEEL PENN has got the better of the exchanges.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ross gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! STEEL PENN gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Ross is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
