Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gregores Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bang McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez comes to the cage accompanied by Paleface- Helsinki-Shangri-La. McGee has chosen Metallica - All Nightmare Long as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bang McGee!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendez shoots in but no luck this time.
Mendez ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
McGee misses with a series of wild punches.
McGee tries to clinch up but Mendez circles away and keeps his distance.
Mendez shoots in but McGee avoids the takedown attempt easily.
McGee uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mendez.
A nice leg kick lands there from McGee.
McGee bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Mendez's head.
McGee looks to land a combination. Mendez sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
McGee keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Gregores Mendez. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and McGee counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
McGee moves into range and connects with a jab.
It looks like Gregores Mendez has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McGee is looking to slow Mendez down with leg kicks.
A jab lands there for McGee.

McGee sends Mendez crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! McGee is motioning to the referee to let Mendez up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

McGee loads up on a big right hand but Mendez slips the punch.
Bang McGee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McGee cracks Mendez with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Mendez looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can McGee finish him?
Oh Mendez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
McGee steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Mendez is out on his feet! McGee sets himself and nearly takes Mendez's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Bang McGee!
