The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Estima looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Moia is fending him off so far but Estima persists. Nope, Moia circles away and we're back to standing.
Estima misses with a takedown attempt - Moia sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Roger Estima seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Estima shoots in but Moia avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Damien Moia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roger Estima.

Damien Moia has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Moia stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Moia wants it to stay on the feet.

Estima gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Estima is flailing around like a fish out of water, trying to land strikes.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Moia seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Estima for as long as he can get away with.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
