Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Joey Fagan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Lagoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lagoo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Lagoo throws a shot from downtown. Fagan moves away and avoids it.

and Lagoo counters with a left to the body.

Lagoo lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Fagan at a distance.

Fagan wants to take a breather but Lagoo manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Fagan.

Fagan is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Lagoo is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Lagoo has escaped and now he's on top!
Fagan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lagoo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lagoo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fagan shoots in looking for a takedown. Lagoo tries to sprawl out of it but Fagan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lagoo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Lagoo closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Fagan did well to prevent Lagoo getting side control.

Sasha Lagoo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Lagoo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
