Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Darken Rahl (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JJ Nunag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rahl comes to the cage accompanied by Adelitas Way - The Collapse. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darken Rahl!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JJ Nunag!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rahl will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A jab from Rahl does it's job there.
Rahl misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nice uppercut lands for Rahl. That snapped Nunag's head back.

Nunag closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rahl to the mat! Rahl manages to get full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Nunag is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rahl is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rahl has escaped and now he's on top!
Nunag trying to keep a closed guard but Rahl is proving a slippery customer.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rahl is looking to stand up but Nunag won't let him.

Rahl stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Darken Rahl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nunag throws a front kick aimed at Rahl's knee but Rahl avoids it well.

Nunag forces Rahl back against the cage and clinches.
A bit of stalling here from Nunag.
Nunag is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Rahl gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Nunag breaks from the clinch.
Rahl throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rahl rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nunag moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Rahl misses with a wild combination.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nunag.
Nunag throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Nunag closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rahl to the mat! Rahl manages to get full guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Nunag decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Nunag looks gassed!
Rahl scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Rahl feints with a jab and clips Nunag right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Nunag is sent crashing into the canvas and Rahl leaps in for the kill! Nunag tries to get to his feet but Rahl is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Nunag is in need of a savior and steps in!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Darken Rahl!
After the fight, Darken Rahl was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
