Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Claudio Dutra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Konsai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Konsai has chosen The dull razor as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Konsai tries to clinch

and Dutra counters by clinching up.

Dutra manages to pull guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dutra tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Konsai with a flurry of punches that miss.
Konsai throwing strikes from guard but Dutra blocks nicely.
Konsai throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Dutra works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Dutra has control of Konsai's left arm, preventing Konsai from doing any damage.

Dutra pushes Konsai off and scrambles back to his feet.
Konsai is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Dutra leaves Konsai with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Dutra throws a head kick that misses.
Konsai shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Konsai is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Konsai tries for a takedown but Dutra circles away easily

and Dutra counters with a nice double leg into side control. Konsai won't be happy with that.
Claudio Dutra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ken Konsai.
