Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Banner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clay Guida (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bruce Banner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clay Guida!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banner looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Guida is working an open guard so Banner takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Banner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Guida's half guard.
Banner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guida on the ground.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Banner is trying to work for a kimura but Guida is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Banner has gone for a leg lock! Guida slips out almost immediately though and dives into Banner's guard.

Guida seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Banner does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Guida decides to stand and escape the position.
Guida stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Guida wants it to stay on the feet.

Banner shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Guida napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Banner is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Guida is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Guida manages to work his way to half guard, despite Banner's best efforts.

Banner decides to stand up.
Guida shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Banner sprawls well. Banner wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Guida gets slowly back to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Banner shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Banner blocks a head kick by Guida.
Guida wants to clinch but Banner slips to the side

and Banner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Guida's guard.

Banner looking to sit in guard and control but Guida gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Banner has his foot on Guida's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Guida works his way back into a safe position though.

Banner has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Guida can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Banner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Guida is aware though and is defending well.

Banner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Guida defends well.

Banner is looking for a triangle but Guida pushes his legs off easily.

Banner working for submissions but it's allowed Guida to get to half guard.
Guida thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Banner's head.

Banner is looking to get back to is feet but Guida passes into side control.
Banner tries to bench press Guida off him but Guida keeps the position.
Guida tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Guida is looking to take a break and control but Banner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Guida gets to mount! Banner was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Banner tries to lock up and control but Guida gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Guida tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Banner is squirming around, avoiding Guida's attempts to control the action.
Guida is breathing heavily.
Banner is looking to improve his position but Guida isn't that keen on the idea.
Poor strikes thrown by Guida there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Guida prevents Banner from getting the reversal.
Banner is in a horrible position here. Guida smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Guida looking to control but Banner is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Banner bucks Guida off and manages to get back to his feet!
Banner fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Guida is looking to clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Banner closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Guida to the mat! Guida manages to get full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Banner wants to get up but he can't break Guida's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Banner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Guida works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Guida takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Guida is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Guida throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Banner's waist but Banner gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Guida off to one side.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Banner tries to score a power double leg takedown but Guida sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Banner somewhat.

Banner working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Banner is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Guida doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Banner.

Bruce Banner showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Banner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
