The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Erickson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Williams gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Erickson off to one side.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Erickson has left one of his arms exposed and Williams doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Erickson screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
