Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Shinjo Shinomori will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Shinomori shoots in looking for a takedown. Greene tries to sprawl out of it but Shinomori keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Greene manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Shinjo Shinomori is winning the standup battle so far.
Shinomori throws a front kick aimed at Greene's knee but Greene avoids it well.
Shinomori shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Shinomori was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Greene tries to hold on but Shinomori postures up.
Greene wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Greene really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shinomori. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Greene is breathing heavily.
Greene is squirming around, avoiding Shinomori's attempts to control the action.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greene really wants to buck Shinomori off and get back to his feet.
