The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGruger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McCockiner tries to avoid it but McGruger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McCockiner to the ground. McCockiner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McGruger fails to land the takedown.
McCockiner misses with a straight left.
McCockiner is looking to clinch but McGruger is avoiding it.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
McCockiner gets underhooks to prevent McGruger's takedown attempt.
