Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gomer Jacobs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Katsu Fujii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jacobs kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting. Katsu Fujii will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jacobs moves into the clinch.

Jacobs ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Jacobs no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jacobs is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fujii is aware though and is defending well.
Fujii avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fujii would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jacobs pushes a forearm under Fujii's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fujii is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

A relieved looking Gomer Jacobs thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
