Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Santi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Swag In A Bag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bag has chosen American bad ass as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 13 - 1, fighting out of New York, Chris Santi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Swag In A Bag!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bag misses with an uppercut

so Santi counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Santi slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Santi trying to control the action but Bag is working from the bottom.
Bag is pushing Santi's head away, looking to escape. Santi manages to hold on to the position though.

Santi is trying to get an arm triangle but Bag is defending well.
Santi prevents Bag from escaping the position.

Santi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Santi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bag is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Santi has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Santi is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bag is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Santi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Bag knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Bag is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bag seems a little lost for a moment, as Santi dominates the positioning.
Bag pushes Santi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Santi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Santi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bag keeps working.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Santi is trying to get an arm triangle but Bag is defending well.
Bag is trying to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Santi goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bag has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Santi but great work by Bag.
Bag really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Santi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Santi manages to get back to half guard.
Santi makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Santi.

Santi working for a triangle but Bag defends it easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Santi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Santi is looking for a kimura but Bag is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Santi to get the leverage.
Santi is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Bag looks like he's trying to stand up.

Santi is working for a submission of some sort.
Santi is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bag!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bag is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Santi fails to take his opponent's back.
Bag is squirming around, avoiding Santi's attempts to control the action.

Santi working for a submission but Bag is keeping him at bay.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Santi trying to control but Bag is having none of it.
Bag's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Santi dominated that round.
That's time! Santi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Bag looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Santi takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Santi tries for a takedown but Bag sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Bag delivers a nice body kick.
Santi takes one to the chin there.
A swing and a miss from Bag.
Santi fails with a takedown attempt.
Santi closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bag lands with a straight right. Santi didn't see that one coming.
Santi shoots for a takedown but Bag saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chris Santi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Bag tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Santi was well out of range. Poor timing from Bag.
Bag is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bag. Santi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Bag throws a looping overhand right but Santi ducks down to avoid it.
Santi takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Santi shoots in but Bag avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Santi closes the distance and clinches up with Bag, looking for a takedown. Santi pushes Bag against the cage but Bag circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Santi throws a looping overhand right but Bag ducks down to avoid it.
Santi staying out of range there.
Santi ducks under a wild hook from Bag.
Bag is looking to slow Santi down with leg kicks.
Bag misses with a body shot.
Santi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bag swivels and escapes.
Santi walks into a straight right hand from Bag.
Crunch! Bag slams his shin into Santi's torso.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Santi fails with the takedown.
Bag listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bag lands with a good body shot.
Swag In A Bag seems to be getting the better of the standup.
A solid body kick from Bag.

Bag lands a big head kick that sends Santi tumbling to the mat! Bag takes a step backwards and waves Santi back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Santi is rocked!
Swag In A Bag is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bag drops Santi with a big left hand! Santi is injured, injured bad! Bag jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Swag In A Bag!
Swag In A Bag took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'Just like to thank my hands for being so great, without them none of this would be possible. '.
