The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Low throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Steptoe misses with a takedown attempt
and Low counters with a series of strikes. Steptoe will be more careful next time no doubt.
Low displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Steptoe.
Steptoe doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Low counters with a nice body shot.
Jackie Low has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Steptoe.
Low works Steptoe's body with a nice hook.

Steptoe doesn't succeed with the takedown
enabling Low to counter with a crisp jab.
Steptoe throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Low ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Steptoe looks gassed!
Steptoe gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Low counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Low jabs Steptoe to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Low scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Steptoe doesn't seem bothered though.
Low lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Steptoe is looking to close the distance but Low sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Steptoe crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Steptoe is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
