The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hurt plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Black. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Black is breathing heavily.
Hurt throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Black's head.

Black loads up on a big right hand but Hurt slips the punch.

Hurt throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hurt keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Frank Black seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hurt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
A nice inside leg kick there by Hurt. That's going to slow Black down.
Black fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hurt avoids it really well and circles away.
Hurt lands with a kick to the temple. Black shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
