The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo avoids the head kick by Ortiz.
Rambo tries to clinch there but Ortiz circles away.
Ortiz looks to land a right hand but Rambo moved out of range.
Rambo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ortiz can pounce on him.
Rambo dips to his left and cracks Ortiz with an uppercut!
Ortiz steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rambo.
Rambo scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
It looks like Randy Ortiz has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ortiz clinches up against the cage.
Rambo drops Ortiz onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Ortiz is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Ortiz is rocked!
Rambo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Ortiz backwards.
Ortiz is still on wobbly legs! Can Rambo finish him?
Rambo creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Ortiz's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Ortiz drops to his knees and Rambo pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John J Rambo!
John J Rambo is the new heavyweight champion!
After the fight, John J Rambo was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
