Carnera comes to the cage accompanied by DMX - one more road to cross. Calaway is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: R.I.P.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Calaway lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Carnera at a distance.

It looks like Primo Carnera has been cut.
Carnera throws a sloppy head kick
and Calaway counters with a nice uppercut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Carnera cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Carnera fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Calaway will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Carnera looks to score with a jab to the body but Calaway is just out of range.

Calaway's corner calls for a 1-2. Calaway obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Carnera has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Carnera there as he acknowledges the shot.

Carnera is rocked!
Calaway moves in close and cracks Carnera with a massive right hand! Carnera, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Calaway!
