McNutt is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Face to the Floor. Lesnar McNutt has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jason Fray's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Lesnar McNutt!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fray displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McNutt.

McNutt closes the distance and clinches.
Fray is trying to push McNutt away but McNutt has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Fray is looking to break free of the clinch but McNutt has double underhooks.
McNutt is looking for a takedown.
Fray looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Fray jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McNutt walks away with a smile on his face. Fray gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

McNutt tries for a takedown but Fray sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jason Fray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lesnar McNutt.

Fray really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

McNutt is rocked!
McNutt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

McNutt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Fray lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Fray.

McNutt fails with the takedown.
Fray throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Jason Fray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

McNutt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fray sprawls well initially but McNutt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Fray tries to kick McNutt off but McNutt keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fray tries to roll over but McNutt keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McNutt really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fray. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Fray working for a triangle but McNutt defends it easily.
McNutt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fray swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fray has his foot on McNutt's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. McNutt works his way back into a safe position though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Fray is looking for a triangle but McNutt pushes his legs off easily.
McNutt is looking to work some ground and pound but Fray has wrist control.
McNutt must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

McNutt avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Fray looking to hit a scissor sweep but McNutt is one step ahead there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
McNutt is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Fray feints a jab promting McNutt to slip. Fray then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. McNutt slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Fray lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
McNutt gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Fray gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
