The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Drexler does no damage.
Van Dam slips a straight right by Drexler.
Drexler walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Van Dam checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Van Dam steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Drexler.
Van Dam lands with a straight right. Drexler didn't see that one coming.

Van Dam shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Van Dam was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Van Dam takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Van Dam lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Drexler! Van Dam sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Drexler and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
