Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zhao Zhuo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Askren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhuo comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu You. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zhuo bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Askren's head backwards.
Askren pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Askren tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zhuo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Zhuo lands a jab.
Zhuo scores with a nice head shot.
Zhuo scores with a body shot.
Askren fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Askren fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Zhuo on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Askren throws a low kick but Zhuo moves out of range easily.
Zhuo misses with a straight right.
Zhuo thows a body shot but no joy.
Zhuo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Askren misses with a jab, cross combination.
Askren misses with a head kick.
Askren throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A big right from Zhuo misses.
Zhuo shoots in for a double leg but Askren sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zhuo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Zhuo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Askren avoids it really well and circles away.
Askren throws a hook but Zhuo avoids it easily.
Zhuo fails to land with a series of punches.
Askren fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Zhuo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Zhuo lands a jab to the head.
Askren misses with a head kick.
John Askren is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Askren moves into range and clinches up with Zhuo.
Askren has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Zhuo working aggressively here.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Zhuo.
Zhuo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Askren walks away with a smile on his face. Zhuo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zhao Zhuo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Zhuo dips to his left and cracks Askren with an uppercut!
Zhuo misses with a straight left.
Askren has taken the fight to the clinch.
Zhuo wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Askren has him pressed against the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zhuo manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Askren is in close to Zhuo's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Zhuo tries to strike from the bottom.
Askren is looking to stand up but Zhuo won't let him.
Zhuo throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Askren preventing the sweep.
Zhuo is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Askren scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Zhuo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Askren working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Zhuo is looking to sinch up a triangle. Askren throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Zhuo's body to avoid the submission. Zhuo has instead reached around Askren's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Zhuo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Zhao Zhuo!
Zhao Zhuo gave a mention to ĄFFĄKĘTIΘN in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
