The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simmons lands a nice shot that snaps Bracks's head back.

Simmons ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bracks moves away.

Simmons's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Bracks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Simmons is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Bracks is controlling him well.

Bracks fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Simmons sprawls well initially but Bracks persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Bracks is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Bracks shoots in looking for a takedown. Simmons tries to sprawl out of it but Bracks keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Simmons manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close second round but I would say that Manny Simmons will probably get the nod.

Simmons slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Bracks throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Simmons's waist but Simmons gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bracks off to one side.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Manny Simmons looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'Well we dont even know each snother but I was waiting for him at 3 o'clock. I knew what perscripture to use and the redeemed of the lods says so, so I beat him down and said SO. Thank yer Let er Buck and good after noont. Cornelle this is MA to the danm d-e-a thank you'.
