Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sven Svensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Maury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tom Maury!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Svensen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Maury to the ground. Svensen is now in Maury's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Svensen trying to control the position from guard on top but Maury is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Svensen working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Maury's head.
Svensen is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Svensen lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Svensen is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Maury is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Svensen got a little sloppy there for a moment and Maury has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Svensen has managed to get both his arms back between Maury's legs - danger averted.
Svensen stays in close to Maury's body and controls the position.

Maury takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Maury is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Svensen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Svensen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
