The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moottoripaa swings for the body but Ali moves out of range.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Moottoripaa.

Ali connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Moottoripaa's hands.

Ali cracks Moottoripaa on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Moottoripaa falls backwards against the ropes. Ali follows up with more strikes that drop Moottoripaa to his knees. Ali keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Moottoripaa! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Pentti Ali started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
