The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karma throws a sloppy head kick and Lyonti moves out of range easily.
Lyonti swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Karma tries to land a front kick but Lyonti steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Lyonti throws a shot to the body.
Karma throws a sloppy head kick and Lyonti moves out of range easily.
Lyonti slips a jab and a cross from Karma.
Karma looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A jab from Lyonti misses.
Karma moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Pekka Karma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A looping hook to the body misses from Lyonti. Karma does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lyonti keeps the fight on the outside.

Karma throws a sloppy head kick and Lyonti moves out of range easily.

Karma motions for Lyonti to come forward. Karma throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Karma throws a looping overhand right but Lyonti ducks down to avoid it.
Lyonti misses with an uppercut.
Karma misses with a head kick.
Lyonti avoids the head kick by Karma.
Karma is breathing heavily.
Lyonti jabs at Karma's body.
Lyonti fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lyonti lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Karma circles away quickly and effectively.
Lyonti drops Karma with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Karma! Lyonti dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). KeijO Lyonti!
