The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis fails with the takedown.
Lewis throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bukovsky looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
No luck for Lewis with that takedown attempt.
Lewis throws a leg kick which misses Bukovsky's front leg but catches the back leg as Bukovsky tries to avoid it.
Bukovsky throws a series of punches but Lewis avoids them all with ease.
Lewis fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Garrett Bukovsky has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Lewis.
Bukovsky falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lewis counters with a nice low kick that buckles Bukovsky's knee momentarily.
Lewis misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bukovsky connects with the punch.
Lewis takes one to the side of the head.
A combination from Bukovsky does no damage.

Oooh a lovely combination from Bukovsky sends Lewis down but not out. Bukovsky dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Dan Lewis has been cut.

Bukovsky decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lewis to his feet.

Lewis looks for a takedown but Bukovsky sprawls well.
Lewis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lewis is looking to clinch.
Lewis fails with the takedown
and Bukovsky connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lewis looks gassed!
Bukovsky displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lewis.

Bukovsky catches Lewis napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Lewis to the canvas!
Lewis is still in real trouble! Can Bukovsky finish him?

Bukovsky throws an uppercut from hell that sends Lewis clean off his feet! He's out cold! Bukovsky stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
