Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Logan Driver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Grotz The Kiler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Grotz The Kiler looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Logan Driver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Grotz The Kiler!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Driver. Those never looked like landing.
Driver could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The Kiler looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Driver falls off balance throwing a combination
and The Kiler counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by The Kiler!
The Kiler uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Driver.
The Kiler steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Driver.
Driver looks to land a right hand but The Kiler moved out of range.
Driver takes a swing at The Kiler's ribcage but misses.
The Kiler turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Driver missing with a left hand there. The Kiler was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Driver swings away with a body shot that misses
and The Kiler counters with an outside leg kick.

The Kiler forces Driver back against the cage and clinches.
Driver tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Driver is trying to pull guard but The Kiler turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.

The Kiler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A looping hook to the body misses from Driver. The Kiler does a little dance to reset his feet.
Driver throws an ugly left hook that misses

and The Kiler counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by The Kiler.
Driver tries to pull guard but The Kiler forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Logan Driver. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Driver wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

The Kiler wants the takedown. Driver is fighting it off but The Kiler persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Driver's guard against the cage.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The Kiler stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Driver swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Driver throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Driver knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for The Kiler on the ground.
Driver has a closed guard, preventing The Kiler from standing up.

The Kiler stands up from Driver's guard - The Kiler perhaps looking for a knockout.
Driver throws a right hand that misses
and The Kiler counters with a three punch combo that has Driver backing up. Driver nods at The Kiler to acknowledge the strikes.


It looks like Logan Driver has been cut.
Driver loads up on a big right hand but The Kiler slips the punch.
Driver swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Driver misses with a jab, cross combination.
Driver looks to land a right hand but The Kiler moved out of range.
The Kiler scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The Kiler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. The Kiler showed some decent athleticism there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The Kiler is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.

The Kiler stands up from half guard.

The Kiler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Driver is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
The Kiler has Driver pressed against the cage, preventing Driver from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The Kiler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The Kiler lands a leg kick that knocks Driver off balance momentarily.
The Kiler lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The Kiler connects with a solid leg kick.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The Kiler uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Driver.

The Kiler scores a takedown into full mount!
The Kiler looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The Kiler cracks Driver with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The Kiler landing punches.
The Kiler is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Driver can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The Kiler with the ground and pound from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The Kiler lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Driver hang on?
The referee warns Driver that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The Kiler landing punches.
The Kiler scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Driver tries to hold on but The Kiler postures up.

The Kiler working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Driver turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips The Kiler off and cradles Driver's limp body as The Kiler celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Grotz The Kiler!
