Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Holmstad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doctor Octopus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holmstad comes to the cage accompanied by Nightmare. Octopus has chosen Morbid Angels OCOPUSS GRIP as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmstad is looking to land body kicks.
Holmstad throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Octopus moves out of range as Holmstad throws a body kick.
Octopus tries to close the distance and clinch but Holmstad swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Holmstad closes the distance and clinches.
Octopus taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Octopus tries to land a knee to the head but Holmstad blocks with his arms.
Holmstad can't break the clinch.

Octopus breaks from the clinch.
Octopus tries to clinch up.
Octopus darts in trying to clinch
and Holmstad counters with a two punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Octopus closes the distance and clinches.
Octopus's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Holmstad has Octopus pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Holmstad pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Octopus tumbling to the mat - Holmstad dives into Octopus's guard.
Holmstad wants to stand but Octopus has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Octopus looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Holmstad is defending well. Octopus quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Holmstad has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Octopus celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Doctor Octopus!
