The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coughlan moves away from the strike by Maximus.
Maximus tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Coughlan throws a lazy right hand but Maximus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
No joy there for Coughlan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Maximus cracks Coughlan with a right hand to the side of the head.
Coughlan lands with a nice body punch.
Maximus misses with an uppercut
and Coughlan counters with a stiff right hand.
Coughlan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Coughlan misses with a hook to the body
and Maximus counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Coughlan jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Maximus throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Coughlan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Maximus.
Maximus moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Maximus throws a head kick that half lands.
Coughlan connects with a right hand. Maximus shakes it off.
Maximus lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Coughlan throws a series of punches but Maximus avoids them all with ease.
Maximus connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Coughlan's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Coughlan - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
