Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Baby Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Spiegel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Spiegel has chosen Tank by The Seatbelts as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Spike Spiegel!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Steve Erwin and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiegel scores with a nice head shot.
Jay closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Spiegel takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Jay works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Spiegel is trying to improve his position.
Jay working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Spiegel can do anything to dispel that myth.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jay lands an elbow.
Spiegel is looking to reverse the position.
Spiegel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jay. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jay is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Spiegel is trying to escape and Jay transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Spiegel is forced to tap! Nice work there by Jay! Very nice indeed!
