Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Joao Rill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herald Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Smoke the Fire!!. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Chris Saunders and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor scores with a hook to the body. Rill takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Rill moves in looking to clinch but Taylor pushes him off.
Rill looks to clinch
and Taylor finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Rill closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Taylor darts in and clinches Rill up against the cage.
Rill throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Taylor blocks it with crossed arms.
Taylor is looking to control Rill's arms but Rill gets an underhook and turns him. Now Taylor has his back to the cage.
Taylor drags the fight down to the ground.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Taylor is looking to sinch up a triangle. Rill throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Taylor's body to avoid the submission. Taylor has instead reached around Rill's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Taylor arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Herald Taylor!
