Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Hay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adem Tas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, David Hay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Adem Tas!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hay throws a series of punches but Tas avoids them all with ease.
Hay throws a right hand that Tas ducks under and follows up with a left that Tas also avoids with ease.

Hay has closed the distance and engaged Tas in a clinch.

Hay has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Tas regains guard immediately.

Tas working for a triangle but Hay defends it easily.
Hay might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Hay got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hay has managed to get both his arms back between Tas's legs - danger averted.

Tas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hay can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Hay wanted to stand there but Tas had control of the position.

Tas has his feet on Hay's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

A punch combination from Hay misses.
Tas is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
No joy there for Hay, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Hay tries to clinch but Tas moves out of range.

Hay moves into the clinch successfully.
Hay drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tas pulls his leg out and moves away.
Tas lands a head kick. Hay smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Tas swats away the attempt to clinch by Hay.
Hay throws a series of punches but Tas moves out of range.

Tas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hay was covering up waiting for the punch and Tas finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hay is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tas stands up from Hay's guard - Tas perhaps looking for a knockout.
Hay throws a combination that misses
and Tas counters with a thumping low kick.
Tas avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hay swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hay closes the distance and clinches.

Tas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Tas shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hay napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Tas has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Hay takes a kick to the side of the head.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Tas scores with a head kick.
Hay misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hay throws a series of punches but Tas avoids them all with ease.

Tas feints and as Hay raises his hands in defense, Tas changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tas gets to his feet. Hay looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Hay closes the distance and clinches.

Tas breaks the clinch.
Hay swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Hay gets caught flat footed, as Tas shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tas decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hay, up you get!

Hay misses with a combination

and Tas counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hay's guard now.

Tas stands up and waves to Hay to follow him.
Hay misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hay tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hay misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hay fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tas drives through with a takedown into guard.

Tas gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Sloppy strikes from Hay. Those never looked like landing.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adem Tas dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Hay throws a combination that misses

and Tas decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hay's guard.

Tas decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hay moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Hay misses with a jab, cross combination.
Some wild striking there from Hay.

Tas looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hay!
This has been an exciting period of action!

Tas gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!

Tas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Hay did well to prevent Tas getting side control.

David Hay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Tas throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
David Hay is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hay gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Tas escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hay's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hay duly obliges.
Tas throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Hay.
Hay misses with the combination.
Tas dives in and grabs Hay's left leg, looking for a takedown. Hay pushes down on Tas's head and hops out.
A left and a right from Hay both land. Nice combination.
Tas scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Hay throws a right and a left that both miss.

Tas shoots in and bounces Hay off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hay but Hay pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Hay rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tas moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tas shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hay sprawls well. Hay wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tas gets slowly back to his feet.
David Hay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adem Tas.

Adem Tas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

David Hay is winning the standup battle so far.

Hay will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Tas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Hay tries to avoid it but Tas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Hay to the ground. Hay escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hay tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Tas is in Hay's guard.

Tas decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hay misses with a few strikes there.
Tas keeps the fight on the outside.
Hay doesn't manage to clinch there - Tas circles away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

No luck for Tas with that takedown attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hay is looking to clinch but Tas is avoiding it.
David Hay has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Adem Tas is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Hay tries to bum rush Tas with a series of wild strikes but Tas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

And that's the end of the fight!
I would just about give that final round to Adem Tas.
I've got Tas winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
